With the Ernst lab in Maryland we are working to understand the effects that different membrane lipid have on small molecule induced OMV biogenesis. The Ernst lab specializes in MS analysis of bacterial membranes and our collaboration focuses on the interplay between small molecules, bacterial membrane structure, and OMV production.
